Wall Street poised to gain on oil prices
US stocks were set to rise on Friday, building on momentum from the previous session as oil prices hit a six month high above $66 a barrel fresh data showed the US economy shrank less than first thought during the first quarter

Pound hits 6-month high against dollar
The pound hit a fresh six-month high against the dollar on Friday after a surprise rise in UK house prices bolstered hopes that the country's economy was showing signs of stabilising.
