New York City Settles Sean Bell Police Shooting Case

The family of Sean Bell, a black man killed by police
officers in Queens in 2006, have settled with New York City,
with $3.25 million going to the estate of Mr. Bell. The city
is paying an additional $3.9 million to two other men who
were in a car with Mr. Bell and injured in the shooting.
