Torah Bright of Australia Wins Women's Halfpipe
Australian Torah Bright lit up a dark night with gold-medal
run and an effervescent smile, winning the snowboarding
halfpipe competition at Cypress Mountain on Thursday.
The drama was left for the end, just as it should be. But on
a night when many of the world's best struggled to stay
upright on their boards during their zig-zag runs of tricks,
it was Bright who handled the pressure, then put the pressure
on.
