American Evan Lysacek Takes Gold in Men's Figure Skating
With a near-perfect performance, Evan Lysacek became the
first American to win gold in men's figure skating since
1988.
Russia's Yevgeny Plushenko, who entered the competition as
the favorite, took silver and Daisuke Takahashi of Japan won
the bronze.
