2 Former Bear Stearns Hedge Fund Managers Found Not Guilty of Fraud Charges

Two former Bear Stearns hedge fund managers were found not
guilty of fraud charges on Tuesday.

A jury in Federal District Court in Brooklyn said the two
managers -- Ralph R. Cioffi and Matthew M. Tannin -- did not
lie to investors by presenting an upbeat picture of the funds
without disclosing that the two hedge funds they managed were
plummeting in value and that Mr. Cioffi had already pulled
some assets from one of them.
