Gebre Gebremariam of Ethiopia Wins the N.Y.C. Marathon
Gebre Gebremariam, a 26-year-old from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia,
left Emmanuel Mutai of Kenya in the dust in the final mile to
win the New York City Marathon.
He won in 2 hours, 8 minutes and 13 seconds and is the fourth
man to win this race in his marathon debut.
